 Standard heating for HOT BOXÒ enclosures consists of Raychem self-regulating heating cables in the smallest enclosures (HB.75 through HB2ST & all HOT ROKÒ enclosures) and ChromaloxÒ fan-forced wall heaters for all other models.
- ASHRAE, Chapter 22.15 is used for heating calculations
- Heating cables are available in 6, 12, 18, & 24 foot lengths and are suitable for plastic or metal pipes.
- Heating cables feature 30" cold leads & grounded plugs.
- Heating cables and fan-forced heaters are UL listed and CSA certified.
- Standard heaters are 120V – single phase. Different phase or voltage power setups are available upon request.
- Heaters are thermostatically controlled.
- Explosion-proof heaters are available upon request

Often, a custom enclosure is large enough for lighting to be a consideration. We offer an optional 24" fluorescent light (including wall switch). Explosion proof lighting is also available upon request.

If the equipment installed in a HOT BOXÒ requires ventilation, optional vents and exhaust fans are available. (Vents are standard on all PUMP GUARDä enclosures.)
Vents: 4" round or 12" square
- All vents include winterization covers.
Exhaust Fan:
DaytonÒ Utility Shutter-Mounted (10" diameter)
- Wire guards comply with OSHA ½" max. opening requirement
- Totally enclosed, sleeve bearing 115V, 60 Hz motors
- Air deliveries based on AMCA test codes

Fiberglass
There is a 20% increase in the LB price for altering the color of a standard fiberglass enclosure through dual 2".
There is a 15% increase in the LB price for altering the color of a standard fiberglass enclosure on 3" and above.
For fiberglass orders that include 12 units or a minimum $2,500 net, the color upcharge is waived. |
