ALUMINUM
Due to weight concerns with fiberglass, our largest enclosures are constructed with 18 ga., mill-finished aluminum in multiple sections. Sections fit together with overlapping "tongue and groove" joints, which are secured internally with mechanical fasteners. Insulation is spray-applied polyisocyanurate foam (structural unicellular insulation) – 1 ½" thick to provide a minimum R value of 8. All insulated HOT BOXÒ products are designed to protect to -30 F when installed with heat.
- Strategically placed access panels provide easy access for operations, maintenance, and testing of enclosed equipment without the removal of the assembly.
- Access panels are secured using a four (4) pronged interior latch with a padlock through the handle.
- Anchoring is completely internal for vandalism concerns and adjustable for mounting on uneven surfaces.
