SMALL FIBERGLASS
We categorize our enclosures intended for BF installations of ¾” through 3” as small fiberglass enclosures. There are five choices in the small fiberglass category: Flip-Top Fiberglass (Hot Box ®- heated, LOK BOXÔ - unheated, or VALVE GUARD® - uninsulated & no heat) and Drop-Over Enclosures (Ez BOXÒ - insulated without heat or VALVE GUARD® - uninsulated without heat). Insulation is froth-injected polyisocyanurate foam (structural unicellular insulation) – 1” to 1 ½” thick to provide a minimum R-value of 8. All insulated Hot Box ®products are designed to protect to –30° F when installed with heat.
- Modified enclosures are readily available. Please contact our design department.
- All modified enclosures have rough "industrial" exteriors.
- All Hot Box® products are priced and furnished with heat (unless specified otherwise).
- EZ BOXÒ products are priced and furnished without heat (unless specified otherwise).
- All standard-sized, molded, fiberglass enclosures (flip-tops & EZs) are now available without insulation. See chart below for details on the new NI (non-insulated) line.
- All LOK BOXÔ products are priced and furnished without heat.
- All VALVE GUARD® products are priced and furnished without insulation or heat.
